Quad general-purpose op-amp with AEC-Q100 qualification
The ROHM BA2902YF-MGE2 is a quad general-purpose operational amplifier qualified to AEC-Q100, designed for automotive and industrial signal conditioning where four independent op-amp channels are needed in a single 14-SOP package.
The 500 kHz gain-bandwidth product sets the usable closed-loop bandwidth for a given gain. At a gain of 10, the -3 dB point sits near 50 kHz; at unity gain, about 500 kHz. That is sufficient for filtering PWM dither, conditioning thermocouple or RTD outputs, and buffering slow ADC inputs, but not for high-speed servo loops or audio above voice band.
Rated from 3 V to 36 V, the BA2902YF-MGE2 covers both 5 V and 12 V automotive rails and industrial 24 V supplies without needing a separate regulator. The 700 µA total supply current (all four amplifiers active) keeps the power budget light in always-on modules like body controllers or sensor hubs.
Housed in a 14-SOP (14-SOIC, 4.40 mm body width) surface-mount package, the BA2902YF-MGE2 shares the standard SOIC-14 footprint common to quad op-amps like the LM2902 and MC33074.
