Automotive-grade dual comparator with wide supply range
The BA2903YFV-MGE2 is a dual-channel general-purpose comparator from ROHM Semiconductor, qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications. Each output can sink 16 mA at 5 V, enough to drive a small relay coil or an optocoupler LED directly.
Temperature range and input characteristics
The maximum input offset voltage is 7 mV at 5 V — tight enough for threshold detection in battery monitoring or window comparators without external trimming. Quiescent current maxes at 1 mA per package (both channels), so the total power draw stays under 36 mW on a 12 V rail.
Package, compliance, and sourcing posture
Housed in an 8-LSSOP (4.40 mm width) surface-mount package, also designated 8-SSOP-B by ROHM. The small footprint suits space-constrained ECU and sensor-module PCBs.
