PhotoMOS AQY — RF-capable solid-state relay in a 4-SON package
The Panasonic AQY221N3MW is a PhotoMOS™ AQY series solid-state relay in a 4-SON surface-mount package, switching AC or DC signals up to 25 V and 150 mA continuous. The SPST-NO (1 Form A) circuit and RF-rated output make it a fit for signal routing, multiplexing, and low-level switching in test equipment, instrumentation, and telecom line cards where a mechanical relay's contact bounce or limited life is a concern.
On-state resistance and load drive
Maximum on-state resistance is 7.5 Ohms — at 150 mA the voltage drop across the output is about 1.1 V, well within the 25 V load rating, but the I²R loss (roughly 170 mW at full load) should be checked against the 4-SON package's thermal capability in the target ambient.
