1 A, 60 V solid-state relay in a 4-SOP package
The Panasonic AQY212GS is a PhotoMOS™ AQY series solid-state relay with an SPST-NO (1 Form A) output, rated for 1 A continuous load current across a 0 V to 60 V load voltage range. The 700 mOhm max on-state resistance means it conducts with about 700 mV drop at full rated current — low enough to avoid significant self-heating in most signal-level switching applications.
Surface-mount package and field-swap reality
Housed in a 4-SOP (0.173", 4.40 mm) package with gull-wing leads, this relay is a standard surface-mount part. No lab bench or hot-air station required for a field swap — a basic soldering iron and tweezers will do, as long as the board has enough clearance around the package.
