AC line switching in a small SMD package
The Panasonic AQH3223AX is a solid-state signal relay from the AQ-H series, designed for switching AC loads up to 1.2 A at line voltages from 0 V to 600 V. The SPST-NO (1 Form A) output is controlled by a 1.21 VDC input, making it a clean fit for low-voltage logic from a microcontroller or PLC output driving an isolated AC load like a solenoid, small motor, or indicator lamp.
Surface-mount footprint and input drive
Housed in an 8-SMD package with a 0.300-inch (7.62 mm) body width and 7 leads terminated in a gull-wing profile, the relay mounts directly to a standard PCB footprint. The AC output is rated for 1.2 A continuous at up to 600 V RMS — this covers 120 V and 240 V line switching with margin.
