Solid-state relay for AC loads — zero-cross switching at 1.2 A / 600 V
The Panasonic AQH3213 is a solid-state relay (SSR) from the AQ-H series, switching a single AC load line (SPST-NO, 1 Form A) up to 1.2 A continuous at 600 V AC. The zero-cross output turns on only near the AC voltage zero crossing, which limits inrush current into capacitive or cold-filament loads and reduces conducted EMI — a practical advantage over random-turn-on SSRs for heater, lamp, or solenoid drives.
Package and board integration — 8-DIP through-hole
Housed in an 8-DIP package with 0.300-inch (7.62 mm) row spacing and 7 leads, the AQH3213 fits standard DIP sockets or through-hole PCB layouts used for legacy SSR replacements. Termination style is PC Pin — solder directly to the board or insert into a DIP socket; the 7-lead variant uses one pin for the substrate connection, which should be left floating or tied to the low-voltage side per the datasheet recommendation.
