Device identity and switching function
The Panasonic AQH2213A is a solid-state signal relay from the AQ-H series, configured as a single-pole single-throw normally-open (SPST-NO, 1 Form A) switch. It uses a zero-cross AC output, meaning the relay turns on near the zero-voltage point of the AC waveform, which reduces inrush current and electromagnetic interference when switching resistive or lightly inductive loads. Rated for a load current of 900 mA across a 0 V to 600 V AC range, this relay suits applications like switching small motors, solenoids, lamps, or transformer primaries in building automation, HVAC controls, and industrial panel equipment.
Input drive and package integration
Housed in an 8-SMD package with a 0.300-inch (7.62 mm) body width and gull-wing leads, the AQH2213A is designed for surface-mount assembly on standard PCB footprints. The 7-lead configuration includes the main switch terminals and the input LED anode/cathode.
