AC load switching with logic-level drive
The AQH1223A is a normally-open (SPST-NO, 1 Form A) solid-state relay from Panasonic's AQ-H series, designed to switch AC loads up to 600 mA across a 0 V to 600 V range. The 600 mA continuous rating covers small solenoid valves, indicator lamps, contactor coils, and PLC input modules. The 600 V blocking voltage gives headroom for 277 VAC line switching with margin for transients.
Package and board-fit
Housed in an 8-SMD package with a 7.62 mm body width and gull-wing leads, the AQH1223A reflows on a standard surface-mount line. The 7-lead configuration (one pin omitted for polarity keying) prevents reverse-insertion — useful when the pick-and-place runs fast and a rotated part would short the input to the output side. Supplied in tube format, so it feeds through a standard tube feeder or can be hand-placed for prototype runs.
The base product number AQH1223 covers the family; the trailing 'A' suffix denotes the tube packaging variant.
