What the zero-cross output means for your load
The AQH0213AX is a solid-state signal relay from the Panasonic AQ-H series, designed for switching AC loads up to 300 mA at line voltages from 0 V to 600 V. Its zero-cross output means the relay turns on only when the AC waveform crosses zero volts, which reduces inrush current and electromagnetic interference when driving resistive or lightly inductive loads like solenoids, lamps, or small transformers. The SPST-NO (1 Form A) configuration gives you a simple on/off switch for one load circuit.
Housed in an 8-SMD package with a 7.62 mm body width and gull-wing leads, the AQH0213AX is a surface-mount part that reflows on standard solder profiles. The 7-lead layout (one pin is omitted for keying) matches the footprint of other AQ-H series relays, so a board already laid out for a sibling part will accept this one without a spin. The tape-and-reel packaging (cut tape also available) suits both high-volume pick-and-place and bench-level repair.
