The FODM217AV: This removes the near-term LTB risk for new designs or sustaining builds. Parametric margins for logic-level translation
Current transfer ratio spans 80% min to 160% max at If=5 mA. At the minimum CTR, a 5 mA input yields at least 4 mA output drive — enough to saturate a downstream TTL or CMOS gate without additional buffering. Typical turn-on and turn-off times are 3 µs each, with rise/fall of 2 µs / 3 µs. This suits 100 kHz switching or slower; for faster edges, a logic-output optocoupler would be needed. Output transistor withstands 80 V and 50 mA continuous — adequate for 24 V industrial logic rails and low-power relay drives.
Temperature grade and package handling
Operating range -55°C to 110°C covers industrial and extended-temperature environments. No AEC-Q grade is cited; for automotive use, confirm the specific qualification against the application requirement. Supplied in tube.
