8-bit I²C trim DAC for precision analog loops
The TC1320EOA is an 8-bit digital-to-analog converter with a voltage-buffered output, controlled over an I²C serial interface. Its current-steering architecture delivers a typical settling time of 10 µs, making it fast enough for closed-loop trim and calibration adjustments in power-supply margining, sensor offset nulling, or programmable reference generation. Integral nonlinearity is ±2 LSB maximum, and differential nonlinearity is ±0.8 LSB maximum — the monotonicity guarantee over the full industrial temperature range means the output never steps backward as the code increments, which matters when the DAC is setting a regulator feedback node or a comparator threshold.
Single-supply simplicity and industrial temp range
The reference is external, giving the designer control over the full-scale voltage independent of the supply. The 8-SOIC package (3.90 mm body width) fits a standard SOIC-8 land pattern with 1.27 mm pitch — no footprint deviation from the common JEDEC outline.
