PIN diode with low series resistance and low capacitance
The MML4401-GM2 is a single PIN diode from Microchip's MML4400 series, designed for RF switching and limiter applications where low insertion loss and low distortion are required. Its 2.5 Ohm series resistance at 100 mA forward current and 100 MHz keeps the on-state loss minimal, while the 1.5 pF capacitance at 0 V reverse bias and 1 MHz ensures good isolation in the off-state. The 75 V peak reverse voltage gives headroom for moderate-power RF signals.
The 2-SMD no-lead package has a low-profile footprint for dense RF boards, and the Tape & Reel or Cut Tape option aligns with both prototyping and volume pick-and-place.
