150 mA LDO for noise-sensitive rails
The MIC5366-1.2YC5-TR is a 150 mA, 1.2 V fixed-output LDO from Microchip Technology, built for powering analog and RF supply rails where ripple rejection matters. PSRR holds 80 dB at 1 kHz and still manages 65 dB at 10 kHz — that keeps switching-regulator ripple off a PLL or ADC reference rail without a post-filter LC stage.
Dropout, quiescent current, and enable logic
Maximum dropout is 0.38 V at the full 150 mA load — a 3.3 V rail to 1.2 V conversion leaves 1.72 V headroom, well above the dropout floor even at temperature. Quiescent current draws 39 µA typical, making it suitable for battery-powered sensors that spend most of their time in a regulated sleep state. The Enable pin lets a GPIO or supervisor sequence the 1.2 V rail on and off without a separate load switch — useful for power-gating sub-circuits in a mixed-voltage design.
SC-70-5 footprint and temperature grade
Protection includes over-current limiting and thermal shutdown — no external clamp diode needed for a short-circuit event.
Active production and compliance
ROHS3 compliant, with no restricted substances above the threshold; the part is suitable for EU-market assemblies without exemption expiry concerns.
