Output ratings and protection
The MIC5268-1.2YM5-TR: Quiescent current is 150 µA typical, which sets the floor for the battery drain in always-on applications. Built-in protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) — the UVLO threshold prevents the output from sourcing current when the input rail is too low to maintain regulation, which avoids the pass element operating in the linear region.
Temperature grade and control
The Enable and Power Good control pins allow the regulator to be sequenced with other rails and provide a reset signal to the load when the output is within tolerance.
