Supply range and single-supply operation
The rail-to-rail output swings within millivolts of each rail, preserving dynamic range in low-voltage ADC driver stages. Input common-mode range extends to the negative rail but stops about 1.1 V below the positive rail — fine for ground-referenced signals, but high-side current sensing at 3.3 V needs a different topology.
Speed and drive capability
The 5 MHz gain-bandwidth and 2.5 V/µs slew rate handle audio-band filtering, transducer amplification, and moderate-speed ADC driving. Each channel can source or sink 25 mA, enough to drive a reference input or a small analog meter directly. The 1 pA input bias current suits high-impedance sources like photodiode or pH probe front-ends.
Lifecycle and compliance
Microchip lists the MCP6281T-E/SN as Active. ROHS3 compliant.
