600 nA supply, rail-to-rail output
The MCP6043-I/SN draws 600 nA typical supply current — low enough that a CR2032 coin cell can power it for years in a temperature or humidity sensor. The rail-to-rail output lets it swing within millivolts of the supply rails, so you get the full ADC input range without a second gain stage.
14 kHz GBWP, 0.003 V/µs slew rate
Gain-bandwidth product is 14 kHz and slew rate is 0.003 V/µs. That combination means this op amp is for DC or very slow signals — think thermocouple conditioning, photodiode current sensing, or battery voltage monitoring. It will not track audio or motor encoder edges.
Active production, 8-SOIC package
Status is Active, ROHS3 compliant. The 8-SOIC (0.154", 3.90 mm width) package is a standard footprint — hand-solderable with a fine tip, and widely supported by breakout boards. Supplied in Tube; if you need Tape & Reel for pick-and-place, check the MCP6043T-I/SN variant or request a quote for the tube-to-reel conversion.
1 pA input bias, 3 mV offset
Input bias current is 1 pA — negligible for high-impedance sources like pH probes or pyroelectric sensors. Input offset voltage is 3 mV typical; for a single-supply 3.3 V system that is about 0.09% of the rail, acceptable for most 8-10 bit measurements without auto-zero.
