Fixed 2.2V LDO with 1.27 µA quiescent current
The MCP1711T-22I/OT is a positive-output LDO from Microchip Technology, delivering a fixed 2.2V at up to 150 mA from a maximum 6V input rail. Its 1.27 µA typical quiescent current makes it a fit for always-on or battery-powered circuits where the regulator's own draw must stay below the microamp range. The enable pin allows the output to be gated off, dropping the supply current further when the load is idle — useful for power gating in sensor nodes or wireless modules.
Dropout and headroom planning
Maximum dropout voltage is 1.05V at the full 150 mA load — the input rail must stay at least that margin above 2.2V to maintain regulation across temperature and process corners. The 2.2V fixed output is internally trimmed; no external resistor divider is needed, which saves one feedback node and reduces PCB area in the SOT-23-5 footprint.
ROHS3 compliant, which covers the full ten restricted substance categories including the four phthalates — no exemption declarations needed for EU or UKCA markets.
