USB-to-Ethernet bridge with integrated PHY
The LAN9500A-ABZJ is a single-chip bridge that converts a USB 2.0 port into a 10/100 Base-T/TX Ethernet interface with the PHY built in — no external MAC or transceiver needed.
Housed in a 56-VFQFN with exposed pad (8x8 mm body, supplier package 56-QFN), the LAN9500A-ABZJ requires a thermal pad on the PCB to pull heat from the die — the exposed pad is the primary thermal path, not the leads.
