What the integrated PHY means for your BOM
The parallel host interface connects directly to the external bus of most ARM, x86, or FPGA-based processors without requiring an external MAC. This is a straightforward fit for legacy designs that lack a dedicated Ethernet MAC peripheral, though the parallel bus limits throughput to roughly 100 Mbps line rate — adequate for 10/100 applications.
Temperature grade and environment fit
It is not qualified for industrial or automotive temperature ranges; designs that must operate below freezing or above 70°C ambient should look at the industrial-temperature variants in the same family.
Supplied in a 56-VFQFN exposed pad package, 8x8 mm body.
