Supply voltage flexibility for mixed-voltage designs
The transceiver operates from a 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V core supply, which simplifies BOM planning when the host MAC runs at a different I/O voltage. No external level shifters are needed between the PHY and a 3.3V MAC or a 1.8V low-power SoC — the supply pin selection sets the interface voltage.
32-QFN 5x5 — compact footprint with thermal pad
Housed in a 32-VFQFN exposed-pad package (5x5 mm body), the KSZ8091MNXCA saves board area compared to larger QFP Ethernet PHYs.
