Through-hole 24-PDIP – board-level fit
The ATF22V10CQ-15PC: It operates from a 5 V supply and delivers a 15 ns propagation delay – the speed grade that sets the timing budget for address decoding or state-machine logic in legacy bus-based systems.
Sourcing is limited to surplus inventory and last-time-buy stock held by independent distributors.
15 ns speed – timing closure for 5 V logic
The 15 ns propagation delay (tPD) defines the maximum clock-to-output and input-to-combinatorial-output path. For a 5 V system running at 33 MHz, this speed grade provides adequate margin for combinatorial decode paths; for faster synchronous state machines, a 10 ns or 7.5 ns variant would be needed. The 10 macrocells handle up to 10 registered or combinatorial outputs, sufficient for replacing multiple 74-series logic gates in a single DIP footprint.
EE PLD – reprogrammable, no window
The EE (electrically erasable) programmable type means the device can be reprogrammed in-system or on a programmer without UV erasure. This suits prototyping and field-update cycles. The 24-PDIP package is through-hole, compatible with socketed development boards and legacy PCB layouts that avoid surface-mount rework.
