8Kbit I²C EEPROM for parameter storage and calibration data
The Microchip AT24C08D-SSHM-B is a 8Kbit serial EEPROM organized as 1K x 8 bits, accessed through an I²C interface running at up to 1 MHz. It operates from a 1.7V to 3.6V supply, making it suitable for both 1.8V and 3.3V logic domains. The 4.5 µs access time and 5 ms write cycle time (word or page) define its read and write performance for non-volatile storage of configuration parameters, calibration constants, and small data logs.
Supply voltage and interface compatibility
The 1.7V to 3.6V supply range allows direct connection to 1.8V microcontrollers without a level shifter, while also working on standard 3.3V buses. The I²C interface at 1 MHz provides a 1 µs bit period, which is the standard fast-mode plus rate.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
