Supply voltage and bus speed — where it fits in the power budget
The 1.7V minimum supply means this part runs from a single Li-ion cell near end-of-discharge or a 1.8V regulated rail. The 5.5V ceiling covers 5V legacy buses without a series regulator. At 1 MHz clock, the I²C bus can sustain fast read/write cycles for configuration or calibration data; the 5 ms write cycle time per word or page is the bottleneck for bulk updates, so plan for that in the firmware state machine.
It is ROHS3 compliant, which clears the EU regulatory gate without an exemption review. For a volume BOM line, this is a straightforward qualification — no PCN tracking needed for the foreseeable future.
