8Kbit Microwire EEPROM in a SOT-23-6 footprint
The Microchip 93AA76BT-I/OT is an 8Kbit serial EEPROM organized as 512 x 16 bits, accessed through a Microwire interface running at up to 3 MHz. The SOT-23-6 package makes it a fit for space-constrained boards where a small non-volatile memory for parameter storage, calibration constants, or configuration data is needed.
The 1.8V minimum supply means this part works directly with 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V logic families without a level shifter on the Microwire bus. The 5.5V maximum covers 5V nominal rails with margin. For a 3.3V system, the 93AA76BT-I/OT is a direct drop-in.
Write cycle timing and endurance
Word and page writes complete in 5 ms maximum (typical is lower). That write time is a factor if the system performs frequent updates — for example, logging counters or storing calibration values at power-down. The EEPROM technology is rated for a million write cycles per location, which covers most product lifetimes without wear-leveling.
Package and ordering form
Surface-mount assembly with a standard SOT-23-6 footprint.
Microchip lists the 93AA76BT-I/OT as an active product with no end-of-life notification. It is RoHS3 compliant.
