1Kbit I²C EEPROM for hot environments
The Microchip 24FC01T-E/ST is a 1Kbit serial EEPROM with an I²C interface, organized as 128 x 8 bits. Supply voltage spans 1.7V to 5.5V, so it runs on a 1.8V rail without a level translator and also works in legacy 5V systems. The 450 ns access time at 1 MHz clock keeps the bus timing tight enough for most sensor calibration and configuration storage jobs.
Package and mounting
Housed in an 8-TSSOP package with a 4.40 mm body width. That's a small, low-profile part — the leads are fine-pitch but the body is thin, so it heats up fast under hot air. The thermal mass is low, so a standard 260°C peak reflow profile works without cooking the board.
