1Kbit I²C EEPROM in a 2x3 DFN
The 24C01CT-I/MC is a 1Kbit serial EEPROM organized as 128 x 8 bits, communicating over an I²C bus at up to 400 kHz. The 900 ns access time means the master must insert a delay between the address byte and the data byte — standard I²C timing handles this, but a fast bit-bang routine may need a NOP pad. Supply voltage is 4.5V to 5.5V — this part is a 5V-only device. If your board runs a 3.3V bus, you need a level shifter or the 2.5V-compatible 24LC01BH sibling.
Housed in an 8-VFDFN exposed pad package, supplier device package 8-DFN (2x3). The 24C01CT-I/ST uses a TSSOP-8 package; the die and electrical specs are identical, so the swap is purely a footprint decision. The CT option suits prototype and low-volume builds; production runs order the reel. Write cycle time is 1 ms per word or page — a full 128-byte page write takes 128 ms, which matters if the firmware does block writes during a timing-critical loop.
ROHS3 compliant. For a new design, there is no last-time-buy pressure; the part can be sourced against a BOM quantity without lifecycle risk.
