18mT trip, 5mT release — magnetic switch point
The TLE4905GNTSA1: This unipolar Hall-effect switch triggers at 18 mT (south pole) and releases at 5 mT, tested at 25°C. The 13 mT hysteresis prevents chatter near the switch point — a clean digital edge for the downstream logic. Supply voltage range of 4 V to 18 V covers common 5 V and 12 V rails in automotive and industrial control boards. The open-collector output sinks up to 100 mA, enough to drive a small relay or PLC input directly.
PG-SOT89 package and board integration
Housed in a PG-SOT89 (TO-243AA) surface-mount package. The three-lead footprint is standard for small-signal Hall sensors; the large collector tab on the backside provides a thermal path to the PCB copper. Supplied on Tape & Reel (Cut Tape also available) — compatible with standard pick-and-place and reflow profiles for the SOT89 body.
