The S25FS512SDSNFV010 is a 512 Mbit MirrorBit NOR Flash from the FS-S series, organized as 64M x 8 bits and accessed through a SPI Quad I/O or QPI interface. The 80 MHz clock rate on the Quad I/O bus delivers a sustained read throughput that matches the needs of XiP (eXecute-in-Place) firmware storage; the QPI mode reduces command overhead by using the same four I/O pins for address and data.
