Active high-side switch in SOT223-4

The Infineon ITS4200SMEPHUMA1 is an active-production single-channel high-side power switch in the PG-SOT223-4 package, designed for general-purpose on/off switching of resistive and inductive loads up to 1.4 A. Rated for load voltages from 11 V to 45 V, it does not require a separate Vcc supply — the load rail powers the internal gate drive, simplifying the BOM for automotive and industrial 12 V and 24 V systems.

1.4 A output with integrated protection

The 150 mOhm typical Rds(on) limits conduction loss: at 1 A the dissipation is 150 mW, well within the SOT223-4 thermal budget at 85 °C ambient with reasonable copper area.

PG-SOT223-4 board-fit and temp grade

Surface-mount in the TO-261-4 / TO-261AA outline (PG-SOT223-4), the ITS4200SMEPHUMA1 shares the standard SOT223 footprint — the tab is the drain connection and must be soldered to the output copper pour for thermal relief.
