Flyback switcher for 71 W isolated supplies

The Infineon ICE3AR1080VJZXKLA1 is an offline flyback PWM controller with an integrated 800 V CoolMOS power switch, part of the CoolSET F3R family. It delivers up to 71 W in a single-switch flyback topology with output isolation.

Through-hole DIP-7 — fit and footprint

The PG-DIP-7-1 package is a 7-lead DIP with 0.300" body width. It is a through-hole mount — no reflow, wave-solder or hand-solder only. The 7-lead variant has a dedicated drain tab pin for thermal relief to the PCB copper.
