102 W isolated flyback with integrated 800 V CoolMOS™
The Infineon ICE2QR0680ZXKLA1 is an offline flyback PWM controller with a built-in 800 V avalanche-rated CoolMOS™ power switch, part of the CoolSET™-Q1 family. It delivers up to 102 W in an isolated flyback topology, switching at a fixed 52 kHz. The part integrates current-limiting, overload, over-temperature, and over-voltage fault protection, reducing external component count for a compact, single-sided PSU design. The through-hole PG-DIP-7-4 package (7 leads, 0.300" body) is suited for low-to-medium volume builds, prototyping, or applications where hand-assembly and rework are common.
52 kHz fixed frequency — transformer and filter design locked in
The 52 kHz fixed switching frequency sets the transformer core size, turns ratio, and primary inductance — it's a design constant, not a variable. That also anchors the EMI filter corner frequency and snubber loss calculation. If your existing flyback design runs at a different frequency, the transformer and compensation will need to be re-tuned for this part.
800 V breakdown — margin for universal mains and surge
The 800 V breakdown voltage on the integrated CoolMOS™ switch provides derating margin for offline flybacks.
Through-hole PG-DIP-7-4 — rework-friendly, thermally conductive
The PG-DIP-7-4 package (7 leads, 0.300" body) is a through-hole DIP variant.
Active production — no LTB risk
There is no last-time-buy window to track. For BOM planning, this removes the obsolescence risk that plagues older flyback controllers. ROHS3 compliant.
