Endurance is effectively unlimited for most applications (10^14 cycles typical), so this part suits high-frequency data logging or parameter storage that would wear out an EEPROM in weeks.
5V-only supply — not a 3.3V drop-in
It will not operate at 3.3 V — if your bus runs at 3.3 V, look at the FM25L04B series (2.7 V min) instead. The SPI levels track VDD, so a 5 V microcontroller drives it directly without a level shifter.
