Sensor output and accuracy
The DPS310XTSA1 is a capacitive pressure sensor with a 24-bit digital output, giving you a resolution that captures fine pressure changes in the 30 to 120 kPa operating range (4.35 to 17.4 PSI). Accuracy is ±0.015 PSI (±0.1 kPa) — tight enough for barometric altimetry or filter differential pressure monitoring where a few pascals matter.
The vented gauge pressure type means the back side of the sensor die is open to ambient through a port in the package — the PCB layout must keep that vent clear of conformal coating or debris.
