150 MHz Cortex-M4 with on-chip CapSense and USB
The CY8C6136BZI-F34 is a PSoC® 6 microcontroller built around a 150 MHz ARM® Cortex®-M4 core — the single-core variant of the family, targeting applications that need a single high-throughput thread rather than the dual-core asymmetric architecture. 512 KB of flash and 128 KB of SRAM leave room for a real-time control loop plus a communication stack; the 32 KB EEPROM array stores calibration constants and configuration parameters without wearing the flash. The peripheral set includes CapSense touch-sensing hardware, I²S audio, USB, QSPI, and a 12-bit SAR ADC with 8 channels — enough for a sensor-fusion hub or an HMI controller that reads capacitive touch buttons, samples analog inputs, and streams data over USB or UART. The 104 I/O pins in the 124-VFBGA package give board designers flexibility to route multiple parallel buses without sharing pins.
124-VFBGA footprint and industrial temperature range
The 124-ball VFBGA measures 9x9 mm with a 0.50 mm ball pitch — a fine-pitch BGA that demands controlled-impedance PCB stack-up and X-ray inspection after reflow.
Active lifecycle and compliance posture
It is ROHS3 compliant, meaning no RoHS exemption expiry risk for products sold into EU markets. The part is supplied by Infineon Technologies under the PSoC® 6 series. Sourced to order against BOM quantities through independent distribution channels.
