8051 core at 50 MHz – throughput ceiling and code compatibility
The CY8C3445AXI-104 runs an 8051 core at 50 MHz. The 32 KB on-chip flash and 4K x 8 SRAM leave headroom for control loops, sensor fusion, or a small RTOS. The 1K x 8 EEPROM stores calibration constants without wearing the flash. The 62 I/O lines and integrated CapSense, DMA, and PWM peripherals reduce external glue logic – a single chip can handle touch sensing, motor commutation, and host communication.
Industrial temperature grade and wide supply – fit for factory-floor designs
The 1.71V to 5.5V supply range lets the MCU sit on a 3.3V or 5V rail without an external regulator – useful for retrofitting legacy 5V boards or battery-powered 1.8V systems.
Active lifecycle and ROHS3 compliance – planning for production runs
Supplied in a tray, 100-TQFP (14x14 mm) – the 0.50 mm pitch demands a 4-layer PCB for clean fan-out. The package footprint is shared across the PSOC® 3 family, simplifying board reuse.
