2Mbit MoBL SRAM for low-power data buffering
The CY62137EV30LL-45BVXI is a 2Mbit MoBL (More Battery Life) SRAM from Infineon, organized as 128K x 16 with a parallel interface and a 45 ns access time.
48-VFBGA footprint and board integration
Housed in a 48-ball VFBGA (Very Fine-Pitch Ball Grid Array), this SRAM demands a 4-layer PCB for fan-out of the 0.50 mm pitch balls. The package is surface-mount and ships in tray format. For the layout engineer: decouple the 2.2 V supply rail with a 100 nF ceramic cap within 5 mm of each VDD ball pair, and keep the parallel address/data bus traces length-matched to within 10 mm to avoid setup/hold violations at 45 ns cycle time. The 2.2 V supply voltage is the core rail — this part does not tolerate 3.3 V on the VDD pins. The 45 ns write cycle time (word and page mode) means the memory controller must hold the address valid for at least that window; a faster controller can insert wait states or stretch the bus clock.
