The Infineon CY14B101LA-ZS45XI is a 1Mbit non-volatile SRAM organized as 128K x 8, with a 45 ns access time that matches fast SRAM reads without wait states on an 8-bit MCU bus. Unlike battery-backed SRAM, this NVSRAM stores data without a coin cell — the non-volatile element is built into each memory cell, so the data survives power loss without a backup battery or supercap on the board.
44-TSOP II — hand-solderable on site
Housed in a 44-TSOP II package (0.400-inch body, 10.16 mm wide), the gull-wing leads are visible and accessible with a standard iron — no hot-air station or reflow oven required for a field swap.
