Dual high-side switch for 12V/24V/48V loads
Each of the two N-channel outputs delivers up to 2.5A continuous, with a load voltage range spanning 7V to 58V — covering 12V automotive, 24V truck, and 48V mild-hybrid rails. The on-resistance sits at 90mOhm typical, keeping conduction losses manageable for lamp, solenoid, and small motor loads.
Fault protection reduces external circuitry
The BTS723GWXUMA1 integrates current limiting (fixed), open-load detection, over-temperature protection, and over-voltage clamping. That means a single device handles the protection functions that would otherwise require a current-sense resistor, comparator, and TVS diode. The status flag output (open-drain) reports fault conditions to the microcontroller, so the system can log or react to a shorted load without polling each channel.
