That Rds(on) figure is the lowest in the Reversave family — it keeps conduction loss under 3.7 W at full load, which the TO-263-7 D²Pak tab can sink into a copper plane without forced air. It operates from an 8 V to 18 V load supply (typical automotive battery rail) and requires no Vcc supply — the gate drive is self-biased from the load voltage. The single N-channel MOSFET switches on with a non-inverting On/Off input.
