What this Schottky does on your board
The Infineon BAS70-04WE6327 is a small-signal Schottky diode with a pair of series-connected junctions in a single SC-70 / SOT-323 package. It is rated for 70 V reverse voltage and delivers a 100 ps reverse recovery time — fast enough for RF clamping, high-speed switching, and protection circuits where every nanosecond of recovery eats into the signal budget. Average rectified current per diode is 70 mA, with a forward voltage drop of 1 V max at 15 mA. The 100 nA reverse leakage at 50 V keeps standby losses negligible in battery-powered or low-power designs. The series configuration (1 Pair Series Connection) means the two diodes share a common cathode in a single package — useful for dual-series clamping or steering without occupying separate footprints.
Package and mounting — SC-70 / SOT-323
Surface-mount in a 3-pin SC-70 / SOT-323 package (supplier device code PG-SOT323-3-1). The small body saves board area on dense layouts — think handheld, portable, or multi-layer boards where every square millimetre counts.
