Dual N-channel in a tiny SOT-363 — what the ratings mean for your board
The 2N7002DWH6327XTSA1 is a dual N-channel logic-level MOSFET from Infineon's OptiMOS series, packing two independent 60V, 300mA switches into a single SOT-363 package. The logic-level gate (Vgs(th) max 2.5V at 250µA) lets a 3.3V or 5V microcontroller drive it directly without a separate gate-driver IC — handy for level-shifting, load switching, or signal multiplexing on a mixed-voltage board.
On-resistance and switching — the numbers that govern the real load
Rds(on) is 3 Ohm max at 500mA with 10V gate drive — at 300mA the conduction loss is about 270 mW per channel, which fits inside the 500 mW total package power limit. Input capacitance Ciss is 20 pF typical at 25V drain — low enough that switching losses at a few hundred kHz are negligible, but the 3 Ohm on-resistance means this part is optimised for low-current signal switching rather than power delivery.
Package and board-fit — SOT-363 hand-solderable
The dual-channel configuration in one package saves board area compared to two separate SOT-23s. Surface-mount mounting with Tape & Reel packaging — the reel quantity is set for automated pick-and-place; Cut Tape options are available for prototype runs.
ROHS3 compliant — no restricted substances above the threshold limits, covering EU RoHS requirements for lead, mercury, cadmium, and the four phthalates.
