Dual 5A low-side driver for N-channel MOSFETs
The 2EDN7524GXTMA1 is a dual-channel, low-side gate driver from Infineon's EiceDriver™ series, designed to drive N-channel MOSFETs with independent, non-inverting inputs. Each channel delivers 5 A peak source and sink current, making it suited for switching power stages in motor drives, battery chargers, and DC-DC converters where fast, symmetric charging and discharging of the gate capacitance is required.
Supply range and temperature envelope
The -40°C to +150°C junction temperature range qualifies it for industrial and automotive environments where the PCB sees sustained heat from adjacent power stages. The 5 A peak current capability ensures the gate charge is delivered in a short pulse, which is the parameter that sets the switching loss, not the average current.
