Product details

The Infineon 1ED020I12FTXUMA1 is a single-channel isolated gate driver from the EiceDriver™ family, using magnetic coupling to deliver 4500Vrms galvanic isolation between the PWM input and the power-stage output. It is designed to drive IGBTs and power MOSFETs in medium-voltage inverter legs, motor drives, and switch-mode power supplies where reinforced isolation is required between the control-side logic and the high-side or low-side switch.

The 4500Vrms isolation voltage is rated per the spec. The 2A peak source and sink current drives the gate charge with rise and fall times of 30ns and 20ns typical.

It is ROHS3 compliant. The closest functional equivalent in the same EiceDriver™ family is the 1ED020I12BTXUMA1, which shares the same 2A output and 4500Vrms isolation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 1ED020I12FTXUMA1 obsolete or end-of-life?

No, the 1ED020I12FTXUMA1 is listed as Active with no end-of-life notice. It is suitable for new designs and ongoing production.

Does 1ED020I12FTXUMA1 have under-voltage lockout?

The evidence does not list under-voltage lockout (UVLO) specifications. The output supply range is 4.5V to 5.5V; consult the full datasheet for UVLO thresholds and other protection features.
