The Comchip Technology 1.5KE120CA-G is a bidirectional TVS diode that clamps transients on a 100V nominal DC bus — its 102V reverse standoff voltage sits just above the rail, so it stays out of the way during normal operation but fires at 114V breakdown to shunt a surge to 165V clamping.
The -55°C to +150°C junction temperature range covers industrial and outdoor enclosures where the ambient under full load can push past 85°C; the wide TJ margin means the derating curve stays flat across most operating conditions.
