Solid-state switching for AC loads
The Autonics SRS1-B1203-1 is a solid-state relay from the SRS1 series, switching AC loads up to 3 A across a 90-240 VAC range. The SPST-NO (1 Form A) output uses zero-cross switching, which turns on near the AC voltage zero point to reduce inrush current and EMI on the line. Control side accepts 4-30 VDC, making it compatible with standard 5 V, 12 V, or 24 V PLC digital outputs or DC logic signals. The zero-cross turn-on characteristic means the relay closes within 1/2 cycle of the AC mains frequency — the load sees a clean sine wave start, not a chopped transient.
Socketable form factor for panel wiring
Socketable mounting with plug-in termination means the relay body snaps into a matching socket (sold separately) rather than being hard-wired or soldered to a PCB. This is the standard form factor for DIN-rail or panel-mount SSR installations where the relay may need replacement without disturbing the field wiring. The plug-in base matches industry-standard SSR footprints — the same socket pattern used across the SRS1 family. Box packaging indicates individual unit supply, suitable for one-off replacements or small panel builds.
