80 V input, 20 mA output — bias rail or always-on supply
The LT3014BHVEDD#PBF: Rated for an 80 V maximum input, this LDO regulates a positive adjustable output from 1.22 V up to 60 V at 20 mA. The 0.57 V maximum dropout at full load means it holds regulation with less than 600 mV of headroom — useful when the input rail sags under cranking or brownout conditions. Quiescent current is 20 µA typical, with a maximum supply current of 1 mA. In always-on or battery-backed applications, the low Iq keeps the standby draw negligible.
70 dB PSRR at line frequency
Power-supply rejection ratio is 70 dB at 120 Hz. For a 20 mA rail feeding an analog front-end or a reference bias, that level of rejection attenuates 120 Hz ripple from a full-wave rectifier by more than 3000:1 — adequate for most precision circuits that do not require post-regulation filtering.
Protection set and temperature range
Built-in protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and reverse polarity on the input.
Supplied in an 8-lead WFDFN with an exposed pad (3 mm × 3 mm). The tube packaging is suitable for hand assembly or low-volume reflow.
Compliance and documentation
ROHS3 compliant — no restricted substances above the threshold limits. The manufacturer provides a full datasheet with application notes, typical performance curves, and thermal derating information.
