Low-side drive for N-channel MOSFETs
The ADP3654ARDZ-RL is a dual low-side gate driver from Analog Devices, designed to drive N-channel MOSFETs with a non-inverting input and independent channel control. Each channel delivers 4 A peak source and sink current, enough to charge and discharge the gate capacitance of medium-power MOSFETs in switch-mode power supplies and motor-drive stages.
Switching speed and thermal footprint
Typical rise and fall times of 10 ns into the load capacitance keep switching losses low at frequencies up to several hundred kilohertz, though the actual transition time depends on the total gate charge of the driven MOSFET. Operating temperature covers -40°C to +125°C junction, making it suitable for industrial enclosures and under-hood automotive zones that see temperature cycling.
Logic interface and supply rails
The two channels operate independently — one driver can be gated by a PWM signal while the other handles an enable or fault-clearing pulse, with no cross-talk between them.
