Reset supervisor for a single rail
The ADM1817-20AKS-RL7 is a simple reset/power-on reset IC that monitors a single voltage rail and asserts a reset signal when the supply dips below the threshold, holding the reset active for a minimum of 100 ms after the rail recovers. The reset output is active high and uses a push-pull, totem-pole stage, so it drives the reset input of a downstream microcontroller or logic device directly without an external pull-up resistor.
Housed in the SC-70-3 (SOT-323) package, the part occupies roughly 2.0 mm × 2.1 mm of board area and is intended for surface-mount assembly. The three-pin footprint (GND, RESET, VCC) simplifies layout — the reset output and supply rail are the only signal traces, keeping the routing short and the decoupling loop tight.
ROHS3 compliance is confirmed, covering the restriction of ten hazardous substances under the EU directive.
