Active production — 16-bit quad nanoDAC
The AD5664RBCPZ-3R2 is an active-production 16-bit, 4-channel voltage-output DAC from the nanoDAC® series, built on a string-DAC architecture. It settles to 16-bit accuracy in 7 µs typical, making it a fit for closed-loop control and precision set-point generation where four independent analog outputs share a single package.
Industrial temperature range and package
The 10-lead LFCSP-WD (3 mm × 3 mm) package keeps the board footprint small — the exposed pad aids thermal dissipation when the DAC drives heavy loads. The SPI/DSP-compatible serial interface operates up to 50 MHz, allowing daisy-chaining multiple devices on a single bus without additional GPIOs. The -3R2 suffix indicates tape-and-reel packaging (2,500 units per reel) and a cut-tape option for prototyping.
Linearity and output drive
INL is ±8 LSB max, DNL is ±1 LSB max — the DNL spec guarantees monotonicity across all codes, critical for closed-loop systems where a non-monotonic DAC would cause a control reversal. The buffered voltage output can source or sink 5 mA typical, enough to drive most ADC reference inputs or analog front-end buffers directly.
