12-bit quad DAC with ±0.12 LSB INL — no missing codes across the full range
The AD5024BRUZ is a 12-bit, quad-channel, voltage-buffered DAC from Analog Devices' nanoDAC® series. Each of the four converters settles to within 1/2 LSB in 13 µs, fast enough for multi-channel control loops in industrial automation or instrumentation. Integral nonlinearity (INL) is ±0.12 LSB maximum, and differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±0.2 LSB maximum — both well under 1 LSB, guaranteeing monotonicity and no missing codes across the full 12-bit output range. This matters when the DAC drives a precision actuator or a trim voltage where every step counts. The R-2R architecture keeps the die small and the power draw low, while the buffered voltage output can drive up to 5 mA directly into a load without an external op-amp.
Single 5 V rail, SPI/DSP interface — simple to wire into a mixed-signal board
The reference is external, giving the designer control over the output span. The serial interface is SPI-compatible and also accepts DSP frame-sync signals. A standard 3- or 4-wire SPI bus from any MCU or FPGA connects directly; no level translation is required if the host runs at 5 V logic. The footprint is shared with many other nanoDAC parts, so a single PCB layout can serve multiple resolution options.
